AquaBalance: Water Wellness Lab
AquaBalance: Water Wellness Lab is an educational workshop that combines classroom learning with hands-on experience in the water. Participants explore how water supports balance, reduces joint stress, and improves mobility through simple, practical lessons.
The “lab” portion brings concepts to life through guided aquatic exercises, helping participants safely apply what they learn while building strength, confidence, and overall wellness in a low-impact environment. Bingo, Smoothies and Gratitude!
Did you know that according to Harvard Medical School, practicing gratitude for the things you’re thankful for has significant “health effects, including greater emotional and social well-being, better sleep quality, lower depression risks, and favorable markers of cardiovascular health […] it may [even] extend lives.”
Bingo, Smoothies, and Gratitude!
Join us for a fun and informative gathering designed especially for older adults. This interactive program begins with a classic game of Bingo, offering an opportunity to socialize, connect with peers, and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Participants will then enjoy a healthy smoothie demonstration and tasting, highlighting simple nutrition tips that support energy, hydration, and overall wellness.
The program concludes with an educational discussion on gratitude and the immense impact that practicing little moments of thankfulness can have on overall health. Participants will learn how activities that foster gratitude can influence mental sharpness, cardiovascular and immune health and extend their physical years and overall quality of life. Come learn practical strategies to help yourself thrive! Time will be provided for questions, real-life examples, and shared experiences.
This program supports social connection, healthy living, and personal safety—key components of aging well and staying engaged in the community.
