Make Your Own Natural Perfumes with Heather Setzenfand
Curious about creating your own signature scent using natural ingredients? In this fun and interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to blend essential oils to create a personalized fragrance in a convenient roll-on bottle. Discover a healthier alternative to store-bought perfumes made with synthetic “fragrance” while exploring the many wellness benefits of essential oils.
During the class, you’ll learn the basics of essential oil blending, including how different scents can help promote calm, lift your mood, or help you feel more centered. Participants will be guided through the process of creating their own custom blend and will leave with a roll-on perfume uniquely designed for them.
This class is designed for ages 10 and up and must be attended with a paying parent or guardian. Participants will make one roll-on blend during the workshop, with the option to create a second roll-on for $15 cash payable to the instructor to cover additional supplies. Perfect in time for your Mother’s Day gift planning! After the class, stay and socialize over some chocolate, fruit and cheese platters with accompanying fizzy drinks.

Sensory Swim
Join us for Sensory Swim, a welcoming and inclusive aquatic experience designed for individuals with sensory sensitivities and diverse abilities. This special event creates a calm, supportive environment where participants can enjoy the pool at their own pace.
During Sensory Swim, the pool atmosphere is thoughtfully adapted to reduce overstimulation. Lighting may be softened, noise levels minimized, and attendance limited to provide a more comfortable and predictable experience for all.
This event is ideal for children, teens, and adults who benefit from a quieter, more structured setting, along with their families and caregivers. Our goal is to ensure every participant feels safe, supported, and empowered while building confidence in the water.
Come as you are and experience the Y in a space where everyone belongs.

Spring Time Birding!
Take a break from your spring cleaning and join us for a Cinco de Mayo stroll on the trails of our lovely campus. The walk will be led by members of the Westmoreland Bird & Nature Club (WBNC.NET) and no experience is necessary. This is the peak time of year for the spring migration of warblers and other songbirds. We may even spot some spring wildflowers. The terrain is a bit hilly and uneven in spots. Meet us at the Pavilion, wear sturdy shoes and bring binoculars. Plan to join us post-walk for a bird feeder craft, coffee and donuts.
